Overview
We are seeking 3 skilled and dedicated Mobile Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and assembling a variety of vehicles from a van to 44 tonne HGVs using latest equipment from a van using latest equipment and machinery on-site and in the field.

This role requires some one with a strong knowledge of HGV mechanics/technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety standards are met.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Assemble new equipment or components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised tools.
• Perform heavy lifting as required to move parts or equipment safely within work areas.
• Diagnose faults accurately and execute repairs efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to replace or repair parts, including belts, hydraulics, motors, and structural components.
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or assembly within a mobile or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of schematics, mechanical systems, and electrical diagrams.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various types of mobile machinery such as forklifts, cranes, or similar equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to diagnose issues accurately under pressure.
